First bath, photos by Ella

Ella loves to take our phones and photograph things. Usually minimalist still lifes:

 But her portraiture isn't bad either . . .

But she was our official photographer for Susanna's first bath. It went great! Susanna loves the water. And she had quite the cheering section this time!

Welcome to the world Susanna May!

Susanna May McCall arrived at 4:47am on August 22, 2 days early--right on time in my book! This labor was completely different from my first two. But the baby it produced was so similar to her sisters! Their weights are, in order, 8 lbs 3 oz, 8 lbs 2 oz, 8 lbs 2 oz. She also kept up the pattern of strawberry hair and chubby cheeks. Here's a peek into her first couple of days and her arrival home.
